A fall chill arrived for millions today as we keep a close eye on potential impacts from Hurricane Lorena and what could soon be Tropical Storm Gabrielle.
The system is moving west at approximately 10 mph across the central tropical Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center estimates a 40% chance of formation within 48 hours, increasing to a 70% chance within seven days. That’s down slightly from an 80% chance as of Friday morning.
