While it is still uncertain whether Android N will have an app drawer, it's time to ask the question: do we really even need an app drawer in Android?

I'm all for clever AI features on Android phones, but I'm not sure that Nothing's Smart App Drawer really qualifies.

The app drawer has been a distinguishing feature of Android from the beginning so banishing it would definitely be a major change to the core experience that a lot of us are used to.
