Twas the week before Christmas! Christmas is in the air as the sound of the choristers rehearsing for the Cathedral Carol Services echoed out from the song room this morning. The Cathedral holds two identical carol services on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 December at 15.00. There's far more to being a Cathedral Chorister than singing at Evensong and services. In this short film we take a look at the role of the Choristers and find out about the unique opportunities available to them whilst living and singing at the Cathedral. Each year new choristers are admitted to replace leavers. Auditions for boys wishing to join us in 2019 will take place on Saturday 10 November 2018.
